our task is to make trouble, to stir up potent responses to devastating events, as well as to settle troubled waters and rebuild quiet places.

bio | ethos

the wild threshold is space of living ecologies, human and more-than-human.

a space where psychology and ecology intertwine and fortify both inner and outer landscapes, recognizing that the human mind is not separate from the living world, but shaped by and entangled within it.

we are continually and ongoingly shaping and being shaped by each other.

we explore cycles of decay and renewal; integral forces shaping and affecting psyche and soil. to be with the many tensions of living including;

grief/wonder

isolation/kinship

survival/reciprocity

beauty/decay

life/death

ecologizing language and happenings helps us understand and contextualize being alive as active participants in a world of change, a spectrum of energies, necessary diversity, decay, and transformation.

this is not a space of answers but a place of actual space, where questions can lead to more questions. where we can attune to mystery and the messy. how we participate. and engage our agency while respecting the agency of a multi-species, sentient world.

with bare feet meeting earth, remediating the myth of the individual; we meet in the wilds of a living threshold.

‘we are the nature we seek to understand’.
